Today saw our team work on filming the ribbon to add across the video footage after , we wanted to try this design idea as we thought it would add a new dynamic as well as making it easier to add or take away colour from the rest of the film footage. To pull this process off we set up shop in the photography studio with the camera in place 2 large light boxes turned on and the ribbon attached to a large pole to make out that the ribbon was moving freely by its self but in fact it was attached with cotton at either end. Unfortunately this idea did not work out in our favour due to making the ribbon move in the way we wanted it to was just to complicated to pull off with the facilities we had available on the day.
